World of 7 Billion

WORLD OF 7 BILLION CONTEST INFO!

Contest Information:

REMEMBER:

  • Have your video peer reviewed.
  • Be sure you focus on the population of 7+ billion.
  • Make sure your claims and solutions are clear.
  • All contributors have permission slips for submission.

The World of 7 Billion is running a student video contest around the following themes:

  • Deforestation – erosion, clearing for agriculture/pasture, impacts on climate, biodiversity or habitat loss
  • Public Health – spread of communicable disease, air quality, sanitation, maternal/reproductive health
  • Water Scarcity – aquifer depletion, water conflicts, pollution, impact on girls’ education, irrigation
You do not need to do all of the elements in the themes, and may chose just one of the sub-themes for your project.  You should also not complete this project alone -- having a partner group would help you divide up the research and the work of making a video.
